Runners of all abilities, from novices to professionals, are being invited to ‘Run Bristol’ in 2009. Throughout the year there will be opportunities for runners to train and prepare for a variety of races

Welcome to the 21st Bristol Half Marathon

The Bristol Half Marathon will take place on Sunday 6 September 2009 and this year celebrates its 21st birthday.

Up to 20,000 runners are invited to take part but early entry is advised as the race usually fills very quickly.

The Bristol Half Marathon is one of the UK’s leading road races. The race is now one of the largest and most popular half marathons in the country growing from 1,000 runners in 1989 to 16,000 in 2008.
