Runners of all abilities, from novices to elite, are being invited to ‘runbristol’

2010 Bristol 10k

Entries are now being taken for the 2010 Bristol 10k which will take place on Sunday 9 May.

• Organised under UKA rules
• Minimum age 15 years on race day
• Course accurately measured
• Championchip timing
• Free T shirt to all finishers
• Suitable for wheelchair athletes
• Closing date Monday 1 March 2010
• No late entries and no entries on the day
• Race limit 15,000
• Licence applied for

Priority on-line Entry (payment by credit / debit card).

Your place will be allocated and confirmed immediately. Please note there will be an on-line processing fee of £3.

Enter by post (payment by cheque or postal order)

Postal entries will be allocated on a ‘first come first served basis’ (in order of receipt by FRSystems) and confirmation sent by email or post. Please ensure you include your cheque or postal order. Entries received with no payment, or rejected payment, will not be accepted and a place will not be reserved pending payment.

Entry fees

Member of a UKA affiliated running club or association £19, unattached runner £21.
Over 60 on race day £11 (proof of age may be required – if not provided the organisers reserve the right to declare the entry void and any entry fee paid will be retained to cover administration costs).

How to enter the Business Challenge or transfer your place to the Business Challenge:

The Business Challenge is open to teams of employees of any UK registered business, company or corporation. Prizes are awarded for the fastest man, woman and team, plus the team raising the most money for charity.
If you have already booked an individual place in the race and now wish to take part as a member of a company team – please contact FRSystems who will be happy to arrange a transfer (there will be no charge for this service).

How to buy Gold Bond Charity Places:

Charities wishing to buy Gold Bond places can each request a maximum of 100 places which can be purchased at a cost of £26 per place.

How to enter if you are an Elite Athlete:

Places are reserved for elite athletes (guide times: Men 31 and Women 34.30). Please send a brief CV with your recent achievements and PB’s setting out your case for being given a reserved place to our race administration service who will pass your request on to Bud Baldaro for consideration.

How to enter if you are a Celebrity or Celebrity Athlete:

Places are reserved for special guests whose inclusion in the race would be newsworthy. If you are interested in helping us promote the race in exchange for a free place, please send brief details to our race administration service.

Bristol Evening Post offer (18 November)

Runners who took part in the special promotion with race partners Bristol Evening Post (using the form printed in the 18 November issue) should now have received their pre-paid entry form (by post) or access code (by email) from the race admin service FRSystems by the end of December 2009.
