REEBOK BRISTOL ROAD MILES and
REEBOK STREET SPRINTSFASTEST KIDS IN THE CITY
SATURDAY 8 SEPTEMBER 2007
COLLEGE GREEN, BRISTOL
Promoted by Bristol & West AC and Bristol City Council

This year marks the 4th Reebok Bristol Road Mile races and also sees the introduction of a new event:
Fastest Kids in the City – a 60meter race for runners under 10 years.

The event takes place with the back-drop of Bristol Cathedral, with the runners racing over 5 laps of the paved College Green loop. There are Reebok prizes on offer in the junior races and cash in the senior races for the top three places.

The mile is the classic distance for British runners ever since Sir Roger Bannister became the first man to run the distance in under 4 minutes. This tradition continues all the way to Steve Cram who held the world record and still holds the British record at 3:46. So why not finish your track season off with a fast mile and enjoy the great atmosphere at the event.

Entries are free, but may be limited according to numbers, due to the tightness of the course

• ‘Street Sprints’ for Under 11 (boys and girls, minimum 8 years on the day)
